Description 

For multipurpose roasting of grains and nuts

  • Perforated cooling tray 

 Operation

  1. Preheating of the drum must be carried out for 5-15min prior to operations
  2. Turn on motor to rotate drum
  3. Turn on LPG and light burners
  4. Load the products into the drum
  5. Regulate speed of drum to the desired speed
  6. Periodically check the products, temperature and drum speed to ensure proper functioning of the roaster.
  7. Open outlet when product is done to receive products into receptacle.
  8. Turn off the burners and the drum motor.
  9. Turn on pneumatic blower to cool product.
  10. Turn off pneumatic blower when done.

Maintenance

  1. Machine must be properly grounded to prevent electrical shock as well as for stability during operations
  2. Always disconnect from power source before cleaning or servicing
  3. Do not clean roaster until unit is completely cool.
  4. Always wear safety goggles when servicing this machine
  5. Periodically clean out the drum by sweeping out the debris; usually after the days’ work
  6. It is imperative that the bearings at each end of the roaster drum be greased after every six hours of use or at the beginning of each roasting day.
  7. Gas tubing should be changed periodically
