The C:AVA exit forum was held at the Director’s Conference room on Thursday, March 14, 2019. In attendance were about 60 people from various institutes of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. The various institutions present were the Ministry of Agriculture, FAO and MOFA- Eastern and Greater Accra representatives. All institutions and Institutes were well represented to grace the C: AVA exit forum.
During the programme various presentations were made by the various institutions. Various speakers spoke on the Cassava: Adding Value project. Each elaborating their specialty into the broad topic. Present was the Deputy Director General of CSIR, Prof. Paul Pinnock Bosu, the MOFA director and C: AVA country manager, Dr. Nanam Dziedzoave.
At the programme held at the Food Research Institute, various groups of people ranging from farmers and processors to stakeholders and service providers were present at the Forum making it a rambling success. Also, Research Scientists from the Crops Research and FRI were in attendance. After a brief but well-attended Forum, it all came to an end with short speeches from dignitaries present. Pictures were also taken of the participants to immortalize the event. Therefore bringing the C: AVA forum to an end.
